Sweden 2

Stockholm is fantastic. Pluses are the museums (Nobel, Nordic, Maritime, Vasa), old boats in general, the waterways and the hectares and hectares of green space. Oh and beautiful blond Swedes. Only minus is the Abba Museum - Agnetha stood me up! Really tacky and a rip off. Tomorrow I will do a walking tour of Stieg Larsson's Millennium. Can't wait to catch up with Lisbeth. Then I board the ferry for Helsinki.

Hi mark, enjoying your blogs. Shame about Agneta. Have you managed to swim in Sweden ?the weather is warming up here in Brisbane, just about warm enough for swimming.

Cheers marieta

Hi Marieta. No, too bloody cold both there and here in Helsinki. But I have swum in one of my favourite pools here. I start the trip back home tomorrow night. Sad

Today was our first surf patrol of the season. The weather was quite chilly, though the sea was relatively 'friendly'. It's great reading about your adventures, keep up the penmanship!

Hi Therese. Thanks for this info. Woorim each seems such a long way away from here (as I guess it is). My trip is drawing to a close and, while it will be sad to finish, I must admit I am also looking forward to coming home.
Now, when I last communicated with Graeme Bulley, I wasn't sure whether I can do my patrol - an all day one - on 4th Oct. He said he might phone you. But I can do it. Lucas' birthday party is the next day.
See you soon
