The Bronze Medallion is a common pre-requisite for pool lifeguards and others employed in aquatics centres. It can also be an important qualification for people with supervisory responsibilities for others in the water, such as parents, teachers and carers. Or it can be just a milestone to mark a certain level of proficiency in your own swimming development. The resuscitation and lifesaving skills learnt through the program are valued in a variety of workplaces as well as in the family and the wider community. There are few more important skills than being able to save a life!
Please let me know if you would like to do Bronze Medallion training. You have to be an adequate swimmer, of course, but you don’t have to be a champion. Or, if you don’t think your swimming skills are ready for it yet, let me know anyway and we can work on your skills to get you ready.
