2nd day in turkey

Amazing how much better a place looks when one does not have jetlag. Istanbul is really an amazing city. Big, crowded, dirty and all the rest, but what an astonishing array of stupendous buildings. I have only just seen the Aya Sophia and Blue Mosques from outside and at night so far, but they are incredible. This place really is a meeting place of civilisations.
